The company is a joint venture undertaking of the Royal Government of Bhutan, incorporated as a limited liability company in April 1983, under Companies Act of Kingdom of Bhutan. We offer a range of superlative range of paper boards including plain particle boards and pre-laminated particle boards. Our portfolio also includes ready to assemble furniture (RTAF). We are the first company in the country as well as in the SAARC region, which is manufacturing wood based graded Particle Boards, using sophisticated and advanced technology supplied by G. Siempelkamp of Germany, the world leader in the field of Particle Boards machinery. This machinery imparts uniform density, superior dimensional stability and machinability. In addition, by a process called 'Wind sifting', the wood glued particles are graded, which gives the boards a high degree of homogeneity and structural strength.
Since 1990, the company has been a manufacturer and supplier of world class Ready to Assemble Furniture (RTAF), which is made out of its Pre-laminated Particle Boards, under the technical know-how of COIMAL of Italy on a turnkey basis factory, which is located at Pasakha, 15 km from the Head Office in Phuntsholing.

BOARDS
The
company is the first and only foreign company to obtain "ISI Marking"
for its Plain and Pre-Laminated particle boards, IS: 3087 (1985) and
IS: 12823 (1990) respectively. Both these particle boards are available
in various thickness that range from 8mm, 12mm, 18mm, 25mm and 35mm, in
Rectangular/ Interior and Exterior grades to suit individual
requirements. All these features make Bhutan Boards extremely versatile
products, capable of meeting diverse requirement ranges from Flooring
to Ceiling to Cabinetry to Partitioning to Paneling to Furniture. The
company gives the assurance that its products are fire retarded and
resistant to water, termites, wrapping etc., and are simply
indestructible.

availability, Bhutan Board became a manufacturer and supplier of Ready
to Assemble Furniture (RTAF) or Do It Yourself furniture, which is a
revolutionary concept in Asia and is already popular in North America,
Western Europe and Japan. Its popularity stems from the advantages it
offers both in terms of style and convenience.
RTA
Furniture is modular and pre-fabricated out of pre-laminated particle
boards. It is packed in flat, space saving cartons, which can be
transported conveniently and assembled into single units of exquisite
furniture. Thus, the risk of damage during the transit is virtually
eliminated. It has unique advantages of being able to grow with your
needs. Due to its modular design, pieces of furniture can be added on
to the existing interior, whenever the need arises. The company's
furniture comes with imported Hardware of international standards and
finishes.
